I help Asian American founders and operators make big decisions in high-leverage moments with conviction and clarity.
The people I work with reach out to me at a very specific moment…
You know a decision needs to be made – but you can’t put your foot down.
Not because you don’t understand the options, but because every option feels high stakes.
Sometimes it’s a business decision. Other times, it’s personal – where the cost of staying dysregulated shows up in your health, your marriage, or your kids.
So you run the same scenarios over and over, trying to think your way back to certainty…and stay stuck. And because the pressure isn’t resolved, it leaks into your work, your relationships, and your home.
My job is to get you unstuck by changing the system underneath.
Why I Do This Work
I’m an Asian American tech founder who used to believe I had to achieve more to finally feel like I was enough. Even after raising money, building a team, and growing the business to seven figures in revenue, the goalposts kept moving.
I was running on high functioning anxiety. Like so many high performers, I responded to pressure by controlling more and thinking harder. At the time, it just felt like “the cost of responsibility.”
But it wasn’t.
And it broke when I was 33.
One night, I was so overwhelmed that I stepped off the sidewalk into oncoming traffic.
That moment made something undeniable: I had spent years building external success while ignoring what was happening inside – and it almost cost me everything.
In the years that followed, I rebuilt my inner navigation through coaching, training, and disciplined practice. In the process, I shifted from forcing to flow – where creation speeds up and it’s possible to stay in play, openness, and genuine enjoyment while still getting what you want.
Once I started speaking openly about what I’d gone through, I realized I wasn’t alone. So many men were living their own version of the same pattern – and that’s when I realized I could be a guide.
Now I help high performing Asian Americans – many of them men – rebuild their own inner navigation so they can handle difficult decisions with peace of mind, set clear direction without second guessing, and move fast on what matters – at work and at home – without the stress spilling over.
In High-Stakes Moments, I…
Regulate first, then act. You can muscle through and get output, but you pay for it in burnout and second guessing. I get you clear and in flow first, so the next move is cleaner, faster, and easier.
See the body as data, not the problem. Emotions are your internal navigation system communicating with you. When you avoid feeling, it turns into rumination. When you feel what’s there, intensity settles, intuition returns, and the decision clarifies.
Go to the root instead of chasing the symptom. Beliefs shape reality. If you only change your behavior, the same belief keeps recreating the pattern with each new goal. I surface the subconscious story running the loop and loosen its grip – so your actions stick and your results hold even when the stakes rise.
Hold the mirror while you build trust in your own judgment. I’m not here to be a crutch or hand you answers to borrow. I’m here to help you build unshakeable self trust – so you meet pressure with openness, make decisions with clarity, and move through life with more freedom and fun.
Expand capacity to hold more possibility. Limiting beliefs keep you playing small because your nervous system is trying to keep you safe. I remove what’s constricting you and expand what your system can hold – so you start getting results you once couldn’t even have imagined, far faster than before.
How I’m Wired
At the core of my work is this value: alignment over force.
When something feels hard, most high-performers respond by pushing. It works short-term, but over time it creates exhaustion, second-guessing, and paralysis.
I’ve always been drawn to a different question: What’s out of alignment – and what happens when it’s restored?
That question has shaped how I see the world for as long as I can remember.
I’ve always seen the world through systems – how different strengths fit together, where the opportunity for leverage exists, and what needs to change for results to skyrocket. Long before I had a language for it, I was noticing when things flowed and when they didn’t.
As a kid, I was obsessed with the Ninja Turtles. Each one had a distinct role, temperament, and a clear place in the system. Working together, they were a band of brothers aligned around one mission…and it felt like magic. I was drawn to Donatello, the team’s calm strategist who solved problems through systems rather than brute force.
Later, I felt the same pull to JRPGs like Final Fantasy VII – where you can only win by understanding the system, choosing the right combination of strengths, and moving in alignment.
At the time, I thought I was interested in teams. What I was actually drawn to was the internal alignment needed to create powerful results of any kind.
That lens stayed with me.
In college, it showed up in how I identified overlooked strengths and helped shape the next generation of leaders in my fraternity.
Then I read Moneyball by Michael Lewis (my favorite book), and it crystallized something important for me. Billy Beane didn’t win by pushing harder or chasing conventional talent. He won by seeing what others overlooked, and building an aligned team where each person’s contribution mattered.
That story stuck with me because it reflects how I approach pressure and high-stakes moments: don’t try to overpower the system – understand it, align it, and let it flow.
I’ve carried that same orientation into my work as a founder and operator. For the past decade, I’ve helped transform how funeral homes serve families. Bringing transparency and convenience to deathcare through software to an industry that historically had very little of either. That work required making high-stakes decisions in moments where clarity and alignment were key.
What I do now is the same instinct, applied inward.
This value also shapes how I live. I’m drawn to community, shared experience, and spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and each other – whether through men’s groups, cold plunges, retreats, or bringing together people who might not otherwise cross paths. The throughline is the same: when alignment is restored, people relax, open up, and create magic together.
In many ways, my work – and my life – has been an ongoing pursuit to be a Ninja Turtle.
